Learn more about the market
Becoming a vendor at the Lindsay Farmers’ Market is about more than having a great product—we wish we could make space for everyone who would like to join us!
As a designated farmers’ market, we are required to maintain a minimum ratio of 51% farmers to non-farm vendors. This designation is an important part of what makes our market a farmers’ market, and maintaining this balance is essential to keeping that status.
Every vendor counts toward this ratio, including vendors who participate for only one weekend, as well as community groups and other non-farm organizations. Because of this, the number of spaces available to non-farm vendors is limited, even when there is strong interest from our community.
We appreciate your understanding as we work to protect the character and designation of the Lindsay Farmers’ Market while creating a vibrant and diverse market for our community.
If you are a farmer or grower interested in bringing your farm products to the market, we would love to hear from you!
